Critically ill patients in intensive care need uninterrupted monitoring and treatment. In response to this need, the 1040.10 / 1040.20 bed head units safely bring medical gas, electrical and communication connections together in a single system. Developed with the high technical expectations of intensive care in mind, the units help the care team intervene quickly and effectively; patient safety and operational continuity are design priorities.
The body is made of impact-resistant material and can be cleaned easily with the disinfectants used in hospitals. All of the unit's electrical installation meets IEE regulations.
