The Schröder MT 05 is a two-layer mattress developed to make patients at high risk of decubitus ulcers more comfortable and to help prevent sores from forming. CNC-cut viscoelastic foam sits on top and high-density PU foam underneath; the lower foam layer carries and supports the one above.
Shaped with body anatomy in mind, the structure aims to bring pressure in the back area down to the lowest possible level. The side edges are reinforced, helping both to prevent the patient from falling out of bed and to add comfort in the seated position. The zip-closing cover has a protective flap along the zip that stops liquids from seeping into the mattress.
