Discharge Valve
Brass valve designed for discharging gas from medical gas stations. Compatible with O2 and N2O.
Automatic changeover manifold feeding oxygen, nitrous oxide and other medical gases without interruption; it switches to the reserve cylinders when main bank pressure drops. MOS/MAS, 7 capacities.
Sitting at the heart of the hospital infrastructure, central gas stations are designed with an engineering approach based on managing medical gases safely, under control and without interruption from source to point of use. This automatic changeover manifold was developed to deliver oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air, carbon dioxide and nitrogen continuously to the healthcare facility. These pressurised gases are used in operating theatres, intensive care, neonatal care, emergency departments and patient rooms.
One cylinder group sits on each side of the pressure control assembly; the station manages one of them as the main bank and the other as the reserve. As soon as pressure on the main bank drops, the station automatically transfers the supply to the reserve group. Because each pressure stage is controlled by its own regulator, the two-stage system delivers higher flow rates and a smoother flow curve.
Non-return valves prevent the gas in the cylinders from escaping during cylinder changeover or if a leak occurs in the pipeline. All pressure values and fault alarms are managed through a digital control panel.
