The AVSU (Area Valve Service Unit) module is produced so that the medical gas lines in a hospital can be isolated separately on each floor. During installation and maintenance work or in emergencies, the relevant line may need to be taken out of service; the module makes this isolation possible.
The unit has all the features required by the HTM 02-01 and EN ISO 7396-1 standards. It can be used on oxygen, nitrous oxide, 400 kPa medical air, 700 kPa surgical air and medical vacuum lines, and is available in under-plaster and on-plaster versions, with or without alarm.
