Thoracic Suction Control Unit 1520 Series

The 1520 Series thoracic suction control unit controls negative pressure to help safely evacuate unwanted fluid and air that accumulate in the lungs. Playing a critical role in chest drainage and lung aspiration procedures, the device keeps patient safety as the priority throughout treatment.

The unit is designed primarily for closed drainage following thoracic or cardiac surgery. In applications that call for low and continuous negative pressure, the pressure can be set precisely within 0-20 cmH₂O.

With its sturdy body and easily accessible, easy-to-use design, it operates reliably in the clinic. Connections can be chosen to BS, DIN or AFNOR standards.
