PSA Oxygen Generation System

With the 66.1610 series oxygen generation systems, hospitals and healthcare facilities can produce medical oxygen on their own premises. This new-generation solution lets the oxygen supply be managed independently, reliably and sustainably through the facility's own automated infrastructure; if required, it can be combined with cylinder systems for instant backup.

Oxygen is obtained directly from ambient air using the PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) method. The system produces oxygen at 93 ±3% purity without interruption at flow rates between 3 and 60 m³ per hour, and is designed so that the purity level stays constant even as consumption rises or falls. A standard station comprises a PSA oxygen generator, a screw-type air compressor, an air dryer, an activated carbon tower, advanced filtration systems, and air and oxygen tanks. Working together within an integrated architecture, this equipment delivers high efficiency, operational stability and long-lasting performance.

Design and manufacturing are based on the HTM 02-01, HTM 2022 and EN ISO 13485 standards. With proper maintenance, service life can extend up to 10 years, and the payback period on the investment is 12–24 months. Capacity is selected by taking into account the number of beds, the clinical areas and the hospital's total oxygen consumption.
