Electrosurgical Unit EK-250

The EK-250 is a monopolar and bipolar electrosurgical unit designed for use in all surgical specialties, from general surgery and orthopedics to urology, cardiovascular surgery and neurosurgery. Its maximum output power is 250 W, and cut modes offered at different modulation levels provide precise, controlled surgical performance. In multi-surgeon procedures, two surgeons can use the unit simultaneously in monopolar and bipolar modes.

Functions are easily monitored and controlled on the LCD display, while visual and audible alarms report the system status instantly. Power and volume levels can be set to suit the user. Bipolar cutting is possible, automatic activation in bipolar use speeds up work, and the vessel sealing function contributes to effective hemostasis and operative safety. The spray coagulation mode allows wide-area, fast and contact-free coagulation. In addition, different audible warnings are given in bipolar and monopolar use, which supports safe operation.

The patient plate electronic control system continuously monitors the resistance between the patient's body and the return electrode; if contact becomes insufficient or is lost, it alerts the user audibly and visually and helps prevent cautery burns. The memory system stores 50 different pre-programmed user modes, so there is no need to readjust settings each time and the required mode can be reached quickly.
