Novela Thoracic is a thoracic aspirator developed for the controlled and safe evacuation of air and fluid from the pleural space during chest surgery and thoracic drainage. Precise adjustment of the vacuum supports re-expansion of the lung while keeping patient safety in view.
The ABS body is both light and durable, so the device is easy to carry and practical to clean. The vacuum level is easily set with the adjustment knob on the user-friendly control panel, and the value is monitored in real time on the manometer. The jar selector button allows switching between the right and left jars without interrupting the vacuum. The pump runs quietly and oil-free and requires no maintenance, so the device can be used safely in the operating room for long periods.
