The Novela Extractor is a suction unit developed to remove blood, fluids and secretions effectively during surgical procedures. What sets it apart in the series is that the vacuum power can be controlled instantly with a foot pedal, which keeps the hands free and helps maintain a sterile environment. This feature also allows the Malmstrom-Throe method to be applied.
The light and durable ABS housing carries a vacuum adjustment knob, a manometer and a right-left jar selector; jars are switched without cutting the vacuum. The quiet, oil-free, maintenance-free pump suits long-term use in the operating room.
