1.5T MRI System Fujifilm ECHELON Synergy ZeroHelium

The ECHELON Synergy ZeroHelium is a 1.5 Tesla superconducting MRI system with ZeroHelium technology, which cools the magnet without using liquid helium. By removing helium dependence it significantly reduces recovery time and cost after accidents, natural disasters or power failures, and allows in-house staff to ramp the magnet down and up again in an emergency. Because no quench pipe is required, height constraints at installation are eased.

The system combines image quality and workflow tools designed with the help of AI technology during development. Deep Learning Reconstruction (DLR) can be applied to all body parts; used together with IP-RAPID it shortens scan time while adding diagnostic information.

Image quality and workflow

• IQ Retouch: StillShot to reduce motion artefacts from coughing or sneezing afterwards, DLR Plus to optimise SNR and sharpness retrospectively, and Exp.RAPID to remove aliasing in post-processing
• Series Save: reconstructs images from the minimum data acquired when a scan is interrupted by a patient emergency call
• Synergy Vision: cameras at the front and rear of the bore monitor patient movement and alert the operator
• AutoPose and AutoClip: automatic slice positioning and automatic clipping for cerebral MRA
