Welch Allyn ophthalmoscope sets are handheld diagnostic instruments used for fundus examination. Their coaxial optical system produces a shadow-free light spot and opens up a wider field of view for the examiner compared with standard models. This optical arrangement also makes it easier to look through undilated pupils.
Either a SureColor LED or a Halogen HPX bulb can be chosen as the light source.
