On medical gas and vacuum lines, every joint between pipes must be secure and must not leak gas; these fittings take on exactly that role. Because they are produced seamless and in one piece on the basis of BS EN 1254-1:1998, they are both stronger and easy to use.
The biostatic nature of copper prevents bacteria from multiplying on the surface of the parts. Light yet strong, the fittings resist corrosion, are not affected by sunlight and need no special storage conditions; they also do not give off toxic smoke in a fire. The hydrocarbon content on the degreased surface of every part supplied is below 100 mg/m² (0.01 mg/cm²).
